ATLANTA, GA – DECISION 168, in partnership with the MedSmarter Foundation, is proud to announce the remarkable success of the Co-Decider Intern & Leadership’s Used Electronics Drive. This intern-led initiative, powered by future decision-makers, has successfully engaged the community in donating used electronics to be refurbished or responsibly recycled, contributing to a significant reduction in e-waste.
The event, which exceeded all expectations, was marked by an outpouring of support from local leaders, including Senator Sheikh Rahman, DA Patsy Gatson, Khalid Teli from GIC, Akbar Ali of Gwinnett Dems, Tiger Harris, and Jawad Shaikh of AUSOMA. Their involvement helped boost engagement and drive donations to new heights.
The electronics collected through the drive will be either distributed to individuals in need or properly recycled, ensuring that valuable resources are not wasted and that electronic waste is kept out of landfills.
